Frontier Energy Says Western Australia Renewable Energy Project Assigned Reserve Capacity, Shares Jump 4%

Frontier Energy (ASX:FHE) said 88.06 megawatts of certified reserve capacity was assigned for stage one of the Waroona renewable energy project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The benchmark reserve capacity price for the 2027 to 2028 year is AU$360,700 per megawatt, a 57% increase on the reserve capacity price for the 2026 to 2027 year.
The reserve capacity mechanism is unique to Western Australia, designed to ensure adequate generation capacity is available to meet peak electricity demand.
Its shares jumped 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
