SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings (TYO:9412) said the total number of SKY PerfecTV! subscribers were about 2.6 million as of the end of August, with a net decrease of 12,311 subscribers from the previous month.
The optical fiber re-transmission service, however, saw a net increase of 8,100 subscribers, reaching over 2.9 million subscribing households.
The churn rate for SKY PerfecTV! was 2.1%, while the optical fiber service had a churn rate of 0.4%, according to its Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
