1226 ET - The shortages of Zyn nicotine pouches that have lasted for more than a year will be fully resolved in the near future, says Philip Morris Chief Executive Jacek Olczak at a Barclays conference. But in the meantime, the shortages have revealed the strength of the Zyn brand, Olczak says. Zyn is facing increasing competition in the U.S. market and has been priced 65% higher than the next competitor, yet demand for Zyn has remained robust even through the shortages. "Opening that price premium actually, from my perspective, tells us quite a lot, [about] how strong Zyn as the brand is," Olczak says. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
