IonQ has named board member Inder Singh as the quantum computing company's new chief financial and operating officer.
IonQ on Thursday said Singh succeeds Thomas Kramer, who will remain with the College Park, Md., company in an advisory capacity for up to 60 days to assist with the transition.
Singh, an IonQ director since 2021, has stepped down from the board in connection with his new post, the company said.
Singh, 66 years old, served as chief financial officer of semiconductor and software design company Arm, from April 2019 through December 2022.
Kramer has been IonQ's chief financial officer since its September 2021 combination with a blank-check company.
