The AI Fears Dragging Markets Lower -- WSJ

AI jitters are rattling through the stock market before traders jet for the Labor Day weekend.

The Wall Street darlings that sell chips, servers and other infrastructure for the AI boom have posted mixed results in recent days:

-- Marvell Technology shares plunged about 15% Friday after the company reported data-center revenue that fell short of expectations.

-- Dell Technologies fell about 8% following a weaker-than-expected profit forecast that suggested weak margins on server sales.

-- Nvidia's post-earnings pullback accelerated thanks to mounting investor concern about AI demand.
