Zhongmin Baihui Retail Books Lower Profit in Fiscal H2; Shares Up 4%

Zhongmin Baihui Retail (SGX:5SR) booked a lower profit after tax of 15.6 million yuan during the fiscal second half ended June 30, from 22.2 million yuan earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the company were up nearly 4% in Thursday's late-morning trade.
Earnings per share fell to 0.0813 yuan compared with 0.1157 yuan in the comparable period.
Revenue was marginally up 0.9% year over year to 498.8 million yuan from 494.6 million yuan.
The company declared a final dividend of SG$0.01 per share for the period, unchanged from a year earlier.
