Zhongxin Fruit and Juice (SGX:5EG) booked a profit of 7.9 million yuan for the fiscal second half ended June 30, against a loss of 630,000 yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Earnings per share came in at 0.0075 yuan compared with a loss per share of 0.0006 yuan in the comparable period.
Revenue jumped 8% year over year to 70.5 million yuan from 76.8 million yuan.
Shares of the company surged over 19% at the close of trade on Thursday.
