Shuangdeng Group Nets HK$756 Million from Hong Kong IPO Ahead of Trading Debut

Shuangdeng Group (HKG:6960) raised HK$756.3 million in net proceeds from its initial public offering in Hong Kong, according to a Monday after-market Hong Kong bourse filing.

The battery manufacturer priced its 58,557,000 H-shares at HK$14.51 each.

The Hong Kong public offer was 3,876.25 times oversubscribed, with the final allocation of 5,856,000 shares, or 10% of the total offering, unchanged from the initial allotment.

The international offering was 18.75 times subscribed, with 52,701,000 shares, or 90% of the total offering, allocated to institutional investors.

An over-allotment of 8,783,500 shares was made in the international tranche.

Cornerstone investor Sanshui Venture Capital was allotted 16,453,500 shares, or about 28.1% of the global offering.

Shuangdeng Group is scheduled to debut on the Hong Kong bourse on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
