Flat Glass Group's (HKG:6865, SHA:601865) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half dropped 83% to 261.1 million yuan from 1.50 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Wednesday.
The company's Shanghai shares jumped by less than 7% and Hong Kong shares rose over 2% at the close of Thursday's trade.
The Chinese photovoltaic glass manufacturer's earnings per share declined year on year to 0.11 yuan from 0.64 yuan.
Operating revenue fell 28% to 7.74 billion yuan from 10.7 billion yuan in the preceding year, the filing said.
