China Everbright Water Ltd. has released its financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2025. The company reported a revenue of HK$3.280 billion, marking a 2% decrease from the HK$3.353 billion recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) remained stable at HK$1.194 billion, compared to HK$1.196 billion in the same period last year. The profit attributable to equity holders of the company declined by 3% to HK$564 million, down from HK$581 million year-on-year. Basic earnings per share decreased by 3%, or HK0.6 cent, to HK19.71 cents from HK20.31 cents in the previous year. The overall gross profit margin improved, standing at 42%, which represents an increase of 4 percentage points from 38% in the prior period. Despite the decrease in revenue and profit, China Everbright Water Ltd. continues to uphold its position as a leading water environment management service provider in China. The company has maintained a healthy financial position, with diversified financing channels and a portfolio of high-quality assets.
