0210 GMT - The Philippines looks poised to become a regional pharmaceutical hub, supported by recent investments, analysts at BMI, a unit of Fitch Solutions, write in a report. New drugmaker investments are expected to drive growth in the country's pharmaceutical market, they say. AstraZeneca's new pharmaceutical innovation hub will bolster the Philippines' cancer care capabilities, they add. AstraZeneca's investment agreement mirror similar moves by other companies, including Royale Life Pharma.
