Pop Mart May Continue to Benefit From IP Incubation, Operation -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Aug 21

0336 GMT - Pop Mart International is likely to continue to benefit from its IP incubation and operation, say Citi analysts in a research note. The long debate over the durability of Labubu's popularity should be addressed by the company's sustained strength in a new product launch, Citi analysts say. With mini Labubu set to debut this week, Citi expects it to further spur the IP heat globally. Longer term, Citi expects opportunities to extend the commercial value of Labubu into a wide range of fields other than pop toys. Citi maintains a buy rating, and raises the stock's target price to HK$398.00 from HK$384.50. Shares last at HK$319.00.(tracy.qu@wsj.com)
