GE Vernova to Invest $41 Million to Expand Generator Assembly and Testing in Schenectady, New York Governor Says

GE Vernova (GEV) plans to invest at least $41 million in its Schenectady, New York, campus to expand its generator assembly and testing facilities to meet increased global demand, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul's office said Tuesday.

The company plans to create 50 new high tech jobs at the facility, and New York's Empire State Development will support the expansion with up to $1 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits, Hochul's office said.
