Communications-services companies fell amid concerns about valuations in high-risk sectors.

Left-leaning cable channel MSNBC is changing its name to My Source News Opinion World, or MS NOW, in its spinoff from Comcast's NBCUniversal. The left-leaning cable network will rebrand as staffers were told on Monday.

South African carrier MTN Group raised its midterm target for service revenue growth and reshuffled its executive committee, but shares continued a recent decline as investors clamored for more growth initiatives.
