Trimble Inc. has announced that the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will implement the Trimble Unity software suite to improve asset lifecycle management. This adoption aims to enhance operational efficiency, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making while reducing asset maintenance and operations costs. The Trimble Unity suite, integrated with Esri ArcGIS geographic information system technology, will be used by up to 1,200 CDOT employees to manage an extensive range of infrastructure, including over 26,000 lane miles of roads and 3,000 bridges. The implementation is supported by Trimble Certified Services Partner, Woolpert, which is also providing training for CDOT users.
