Pop Mart's Guidance, Pipeline in Focus After Strong 1H Results -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Aug 20

0308 GMT - Pop Mart International has leveraged strong demand for its popular Monsters collection to achieve high cross-sales of other series, Nomura analysts say in a note. With that, Pop Mart has taken one step closer to becoming an integrated intellectual property operator, Nomura says. Following strong 1H results, potential drivers for the stock include any sales guidance upgrade for 2025 and updates on its product pipeline in 2H, they say. Pop Mart's potential inclusion in the Hang Seng Index could be another strong catalyst, they say. Nomura maintains a buy call on Pop Mart and keeps its target price unchanged at HK$330.00. Shares are up 4.3% at HK$293.00. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
