The company reported a 13.5% year-over-year increase in second-quarter revenue, reaching R$919.4 million. Excluding acquisitions, revenue rose 8.5% to R$879.0 million. For the first half of 2025, revenue grew by 15.0% year-over-year to R$1.855 billion, with a 9.7% increase to R$1.770 billion when excluding acquisitions. The company's adjusted EBITDA for the first half of 2025 was reported at R$892.8 million, marking a 20.4% increase compared to the previous year. The adjusted EBITDA margin expanded by 220 basis points to 48.1%. Excluding acquisitions, the adjusted EBITDA grew by 13.1%, reaching R$839.2 million, with a margin of 47.4%. Net income for the first half of the year increased by 17.0% year-over-year, totaling R$433.6 million. Adjusted net income rose by 9.1%, amounting to R$503.3 million. Afya's basic earnings per share $(EPS)$ also saw a 16.9% increase during the same period. The company reported a strong operating cash conversion ratio of 88.8% and maintained a solid cash position of R$1.099 billion. Afya reaffirmed its full-year 2025 guidance, highlighting its commitment to disciplined execution and strong business fundamentals. The company also reported having approximately 302,000 users within its ecosystem.
