FIT Hon Teng's H1 Profit Drops Marginally; Shares Gain 14%

FIT Hon Teng (HKG:6088) reported $31.5 million in attributable profit for the half ended June 30, marginally lower than the $32.5 million posted in the year-ago period, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Tuesday.
Shares of the consumer electronics company jumped over 14% in recent Wednesday trade.
Earnings per share was $0.44, compared with $0.46 in the prior year.
Revenue for the period jumped 11% year over year to $2.31 billion.
