0958 ET - Amid a challenging fast casual market, Shake Shack is impressing with menu innovations and kitchen efficiencies, according to Brian Vaccaro of Raymond James. The analyst says comps turned positive over the last three months helped by new menu items, including its Dubai Shake, while 2Q store margins increased including impressive labor efficiency gains while achieving speed of service and other improvements. Vaccaro says there's still room for Shake Shack to boost efficiency through new kitchen equipment, food-making processes and layouts. Investments over the past year in building out marketing, real estate and menu development teams could also fuel continued improvements in performance, Vaccaro says. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
