Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) said metallurgical test work for the Lady Herial gold deposit, designed to simulate processing conditions at Gold Fields' St Ives gold plant, confirmed significant gravity recoverable gold characteristics, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The data will feed into the negotiations with Gold Fields, Managing Director, Edmund Ainscough said.

The composites underwent standard crushing and grinding analyses to simulate the St Ives gold plant process flow, followed by gravity separation and leaching test work.

Gravity separation and mercury amalgamation of the gravity concentrate yielded free liberated gravity recoverable gold ranging from 29.30% to 48.87%. Total extractable gold, via gravity separation and standard leach, produced overall gold recoveries ranging from 90.25% to 97.63%.
