Aug 13 - (The Insurer) - Reinsurance broking veteran Scott Polkinghorne has resigned from Guy Carpenter to take up a position at Augment Risk.
Guy Carpenter and Augment Risk declined to comment.
Polkinghorne has more than four decades of experience in the market across treaty, facultative and programs business.
He joined the Marsh McLennan-owned reinsurance intermediary in 2018 and most recently had a focus on the MGA and programs space in the U.S.
He previously held a number of senior roles at reinsurance brokers, including as director of US Re’s domestic brokerage division. His career also includes stints at Lockton Re, JLT Re, Benfield and Aon Re.
