Eco Wave Power Global AB (publ) has announced the completion of installation works for its U.S. pilot project at the Port of Los Angeles, marking a significant milestone in the company's efforts to demonstrate its onshore wave energy technology in the United States. The project includes the installation of wave energy floaters, hydraulic pipes, and an onshore energy conversion unit. It serves as a demonstration station aimed at showcasing the technology in real U.S. marine conditions, facilitating environmental monitoring, and engaging regulatory processes. The installation was executed by C&S Welding Inc., while the innovative floaters were produced by All-Ways Metal. The project will soon undergo operational testing, with an official unveiling ceremony scheduled for September 9, 2025. Eco Wave Power aims to use this project as a learning platform for future commercial, grid-connected projects in the U.S. and continues to validate energy production through its grid-connected site in Israel and upcoming projects in Taiwan, India, and Portugal.
