The Wharf (Holdings) (HKG:0004) reported HK$535 million in attributable profit for the six months ended June 30, swinging from a loss of HK$2.64 billion in the year-ago period, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Tuesday.
Diluted earnings stood at HK$0.18 per share compared to a loss of HK$0.86 per share a year earlier.
Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated earnings per share at HK$0.74.
Revenue for the period fell to HK$5.67 billion from HK$7.03 billion a year prior, figures showed.
Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated revenue at HK$6.72 billion.
The company declared a dividend of HK$0.2 per share, payable Sept. 16 to shareholders of record on Sept. 1.
