Verb Technology (VERB) said Monday it priced a private placement of about 58.7 million shares at $9.51 per share, targeting roughly $558 million in gross proceeds.

Shares more than doubled as intraday trading volume surged to over 28.5 million from a daily average of about 57,000.

BT Brands (BTBD) said Monday it has been working with an investment banking and advisory firm to assist the company with evaluating and pursuing a "range of strategic initiatives, including a potential merger transaction."

Shares surged 83% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 121.1 million from a daily average of roughly 7,000.

Amphenol (APH) agreed to buy the connectivity and cable solutions business of CommScope (COMM) for $10.5 billion in cash.

Shares of CommScope soared 93% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 62.5 million from a daily average of about 5.36 million.
