Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Gemini, OpenAI's ChatGPT, and Anthropic's Claude have been approved by the US General Services Administration for use by government agencies using a centralized procurement process.

The agency said Tuesday that the three AI products were added to its Multiple Award Schedule, which means they can be sold to agencies at pre-negotiated prices and contract terms.

The move supports the Trump administration's priority to accelerate the availability of AI tools across government, according to the agency.

OpenAI and Anthropic are backed by Microsoft (MSFT) and Amazon (AMZN), respectively.
