Eco Wave Power Global AB (publ) has announced the installation of its energy conversion unit at the Port of Los Angeles, marking a significant step towards launching the first U.S. wave energy pilot. This project represents a key advancement in onshore wave energy technology, as the unit converts the motion of ocean waves into clean electricity. Supported by strong local partnerships, including C&S Welding Inc. and All-Ways Metal, the project is hosted by AltaSea and backed by Shell's Marine Renewable Program. An official unveiling ceremony is scheduled for September 9, 2025, aiming to showcase the innovative technology and pave the way for future larger-scale wave energy projects.
