European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were climbing higher Thursday morning, rising 1.19% to 1,475.61 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.
From continental Europe, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk (NVO) and semiconductor company Sequans Communications (SQNS), which rose 6.2% and 4.3% respectively.
