Alphabet's Google said some of its customers' data were impacted by a Salesforce voice phishing breach in June.

The company said Tuesday the affected Salesforce instance was used to store contact information and related notes for small and medium businesses.

The data were stolen during a small window of time before access was cut off, and confined to largely public information such as business names and contact details, Google said.

The company responded to the activity, performed an impact analysis and began mitigations, it said.
