Cadiz Inc. has announced a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EPCOR NR Holdings Inc. to jointly develop the Mojave Groundwater Bank project, aimed at providing a long-term water supply for Arizona off-takers. Under the MOU, EPCOR will have exclusive rights to market 25,000 acre-feet per year of conserved water from the project. The agreement also outlines EPCOR's role in designing, building, and financing a portion of the Southern Pipeline system for water conveyance to the Colorado River Aqueduct. While project development terms remain non-binding, the MOU includes binding provisions on exclusivity and confidentiality.
