Consumer stocks were advancing pre-bell Monday with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) up 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) advancing by 1% recently.
Tyson Foods (TSN) stock was up more than 4% after the company posted higher fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings and sales, and raised its fiscal 2025 sales growth outlook.
Wayfair (W) shares were up nearly 13% after the company reported higher Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue.
Freshpet (FRPT) stock was more than 9% higher after the company reported that it swung Q2 earnings as net sales increased during the period.
