Morgan Stanley issued 2 billion yuan in panda bonds in the Chinese interbank bond market, Xinhua News Agency reported Monday evening, citing the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors.
The bonds, which have a five-year term, have a 1.98% coupon, the report said.
Demand from domestic investors was "robust," according to Xinhua.
