Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were slightly lower on Thursday morning, down 0.02% to 2,386.41 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.
From North Asia, the gainers were led by education services firm Lixiang Education (LXEH) and provider of blockchain technology products Earlyworks (ELWS), which advanced 34% and 15% respectively. They were followed by Zepp Health (ZEPP), which rose nearly 10%.
The decliners from North Asia were led by ASE Technology (ASX) and lidar products company Hesai (HSAI), which fell 8% and 6.1% respectively. They were followed by retailer Miniso (MNSO), which dropped nearly 5%.
From South Asia, the gainers were led by IT services management company Trident Digital (TDTH) and information and communications technology company Sify Technologies (SIFY), which rose 14% and 6.5% respectively.
The decliners from South Asia were led by telecom PLDT (PHI), which was shedding 0.8%, and technology company Wipro (WIT), down 0.7%.
