Prada Reports Marginal Rise in H1 Profit, Revenue; Shares Fall 14%

Prada (HKG:1913) reported 385.8 million euro in net income for the six months ended June 30, a marginal rise from the 383.5 million euro reported in the year-ago period, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.

Shares of the fashion retailer fell nearly 14% in recent Thursday trade.

Earnings per share rose to 0.151 euro from 0.150 euro previously.

The company generated 2.74 billion euro in net revenue, a rise from 2.55 billion euro in the previous year.
