The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 0.3% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 0.5%.
Aon (AON) shares were up more than 3% after the company posted higher Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue.
NatWest Group (NWG) shares were up 3% after the company reported higher Q2 earnings and total income.
First Citizens BancShares (FCNCA) shares were 2% higher after the company reported Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue that decreased year-over-year but topped analysts' expectations.
