Eco Wave Power Global AB (publ) has successfully completed the installation of floaters for its inaugural U.S. wave energy project at the Port of Los Angeles. The project, set for unveiling on September 9, 2025, serves as a demonstration pilot to validate the company's patented wave energy technology in real-world conditions. Supported by Shell's Marine Renewable Program and hosted by AltaSea, the project utilizes floaters mounted on existing marine structures to convert wave motion into clean electricity. This initiative is designed to advance Eco Wave Power's entry into the U.S. market by conducting environmental impact studies, testing material durability, and gaining experience in U.S. licensing and permitting processes. The floaters were fabricated by All-Ways Metal and installed by C&S Welding Inc., underscoring the project's commitment to leveraging local expertise and infrastructure for sustainable energy solutions.
