CenterPoint Energy Expands Hiring to Support $53 Billion Grid Investment in Houston

CenterPoint Energy (CNP) said Friday it is planning to hire 200 lineworkers by the end of this year and approximately 800 employees by 2030 to support the company's $53 billion energy investments in Greater Houston.

The company also said it is launching a new skill-based workforce development program called Energy Expressway to support its hiring needs.

The program will begin in October and will train 35 applicants for entry-level roles supporting apprentice and journey lineworkers.
