Equity Residential has announced the appointment of Chris Carr to its Board of Trustees. Carr, who qualifies as an independent trustee, will serve on the Audit and Corporate Governance Committees. With his appointment, the Board now consists of 11 members, nine of whom are independent. Carr brings experience from previous roles at Sweetgreen, Starbucks, and ExxonMobil, and currently holds director positions at Hilton Worldwide and REI.
