China has invited top officials from more than 40 countries and international bodies to the 2025 World AI Conference in Shanghai, according to foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun.
The conference, themed "Global Solidarity in the AI Era," aims to foster innovation, bridge digital divides and ensure ethical AI development, Guo said.
The conference opens July 26.
