Rogers Communications Increases Tender Offers for 8 Senior Notes to $1.4 Billion

Rogers Communications (RCI) said Monday it has increased the total purchase consideration cap for eight outstanding senior notes to $1.4 billion from $1.25 billion, excluding accrued but unpaid interest.

The company said the increase allowed it to accept offers for five series of notes, including $589.4 million of 4.35% senior notes due 2049; $457.7 million of 3.7% senior notes due 2049; $243.9 million of 4.3% senior notes due 2048; $117.9 million of 4.5% senior notes due 2043; and $298.3 million of 5% senior notes due 2044.

Three other note series, including 5.45% due 2043, 2.9% due 2026, and 3.8% due 2032, were not accepted.

The offers expired Friday and settlement date for accepted offers is scheduled for July 23, the company said.
