Benchmark Electronics (BHE) said Thursday it has commissioned and validated Intel's (INTC) Aurora exascale supercomputer at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois.
The Aurora supercomputer, capable of performing one quintillion calculations per second, will mainly serve the US scientific community and the Department of Energy, Benchmark said.
The company said it worked closely with Intel to provide manufacturing, test development, and test support for the supercomputer.
