Walmart (WMT) has unveiled plans to launch a suite of AI-powered "super agents" aimed at improving customer shopping experiences and streamlining operations, Reuters reported Thursday, citing the company.
The four AI agents, powered by agentic AI, are designed for Walmart shoppers, store employees, suppliers and sellers, and software developers, the report said.
They will soon become the primary interface for all interactions with Walmart, replacing several existing AI tools and incorporating new ones that have not yet been developed, the report added.
Walmart is using AI to drive e-commerce growth, with the goal of having online sales account for 50% of total sales within five years, the report said.
