Vinci SA's subsidiary, Seymour Whyte, has secured three significant construction contracts in Australia, valued at a total of 431 million euros (773 million Australian dollars). The projects include the construction of a 4.4 km section of the Coomera Connector in the Gold Coast, Queensland, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing traffic congestion. This project, valued at 229 million euros, will feature three new bridge structures, including a 300-meter bridge across the Nerang River. In Sydney, a 154 million euro contract has been awarded for the design and construction of the M5 Motorway Westbound Upgrade, enhancing a key transport route in south-west Sydney. Additionally, a 48 million euro project in Moreton Bay, Queensland, involves upgrading a 1.1 km road and constructing a flood-resistant bridge over the North Pine River. These strategic projects underline Vinci's significant presence and ongoing commitment to infrastructure development in Australia.
