Consumer stocks were rising pre-bell Monday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) was up 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) was 0.4% higher recently.
Domino's Pizza (DPZ) shares were up more than 3% after the company reported higher Q2 revenue.
