Ryanair (RYAAY) Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said Monday the company will not switch its order for Boeing (BA) Max 10 jets after receiving confirmation from Boeing that the aircraft will be delivered on time in the spring of 2027, according to a FactSet transcript of the company's earnings conference call.

O'Leary said Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Stephanie Pope confirmed in writing that the company would deliver Max 10 as scheduled, the transcript showed.

"I'm much more hopeful and clearly, they're much more confident in their own delivery and certification process as well," O'Leary said, according to the transcript.

Boeing did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of Ryanair were up more than 5% in recent premarket activity Monday, while Boeing shares were slightly higher.
