The broad market exchange-traded fund SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) was up 0.3% and the actively traded Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) was 0.2% higher in Monday's premarket activity, ahead of anticipated corporate earnings.
US stock futures were also higher, with S&P 500 Index futures up 0.2%, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures advancing 0.2%, and Nasdaq futures gaining 0.2% before the start of regular trading.
In premarket activity, bitcoin advanced 0.4%. Among cryptocurrency ETFs, the cryptocurrency fund ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO) was 1.1% higher, Ether ETF (EETH) rose 7.7%, and Bitcoin & Ether Market Cap Weight ETF (BETH) was up 1.7%.

Health Care
The Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) advanced 0.2%. The Vanguard Health Care Index Fund (VHT) was up 0.7% while the iShares US Healthcare ETF (IYH) rose 3%. The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) was inactive.
Evotec (EVO) stock was down more than 15% premarket after the company lowered its fiscal 2025 revenue guidance.

Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) advanced 0.2%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.5%, while its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.3% lower.
LexinFintech (LX) shares were up more than 8% pre-bell Monday after the company said its board has authorized a $50 million stock buyback plan, with the purchases to be made over the next 12 months.
Industrial
Industrial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLI) advanced 0.4% while the Vanguard Industrials Index Fund (VIS) and the iShares US Industrials ETF (IYJ) were inactive.
Ryanair (RYAAY) stock was up 6% before the opening bell after the company reported higher fiscal Q1 earnings and revenue.
Consumer
The Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) was up 0.2%, while the Vanguard Consumer Staples Fund (VDC) was 0.4% higher. The iShares US Consumer Staples ETF (IYK) was inactive, and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) gained 0.4%. The VanEck Retail ETF (RTH) and the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (XRT) were inactive.
Domino's Pizza (DPZ) shares were up more than 3% pre-bell after the company reported higher fiscal Q2 revenue.
Energy
The iShares US Energy ETF (IYE) was inactive, while the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) was up by 0.2%.
Denison Mines (DNN) stock was up 1% before the opening bell after the company said that new intercepts of shallow high-grade uranium mineralization had been discovered at the McClean South zone in Canada.
Technology
Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was up 0.2%, and the iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) was 0.2% higher, while the iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) was flat. Among semiconductor ETFs, SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) gained 0.2%, while the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) rose by 0.3%.
Commodities
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.04% at $67.37 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Natural gas fell 5% to $3.38 per 1 million British Thermal Units. United States Oil Fund (USO) was 0.1% higher, while the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) fell 4.9%.
Gold futures for August advanced 0.7% to $3,380 an ounce on the Comex, while silver futures were up 1% to $38.85 an ounce. SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) gained by 0.8%, and the iShares Silver Trust (SLV) was 1.2% higher.
