Medirom Healthcare Technologies Inc., a holistic healthcare company based in Japan, has reported key performance indicators for June 2025. The company served a total of 77,715 customers, with sales per customer amounting to JPY 7,266. A notable improvement was seen in the customer repeat ratio, which increased by 1.7% from 75.6% to 77.3% compared to previous periods. The repeat ratio for salons within public bath houses was recorded at 60.5%. As part of its ongoing business evolution, Wing Inc., the subsidiary responsible for salon management, has been rebranded to MEDIROM Wellness Co. In the health technology sector, Medirom has been utilizing its Lav® application to provide a government-specific health guidance program, focusing on a less burdensome, completely remote support style. This initiative aims to reduce dropout rates in conventional health programs. As of June 2025, the company has secured contracts with 101 corporate insurance associations, indicating a strong foothold in the expanding market for specific health guidance services. This growth aligns with the nationwide targets set by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to improve medical checkup and health guidance implementation rates.
