Data Modul AG has reported a decline in earnings for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, compared to the same period of the previous year. The preliminary analysis indicates an EBIT of EUR -0.4 million, a decrease of approximately 126.7% from the EUR 1.5 million reported in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024. Despite this decline in earnings, group sales saw a positive growth of approximately 5.5%, reaching EUR 53.8 million, up from EUR 51.0 million in the same period of the previous year. Bookings also increased by approximately 3.4% to EUR 51.5 million, compared to EUR 49.8 million for the same period in the previous year. The earnings decline has been attributed to a strained market situation, increased competition from Asia, and significant currency losses. The company is scheduled to publish the definitive results for the second quarter on August 8, 2025.
