LG Electronics (KRX:066570) is expanding the global availability of its advanced air-cooled Inverter Scroll Chiller this year, the electronics products manufacturer said in a Monday release.
The heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system uses R32 refrigerant, which has about 70% lower global warming potential (GWP) than R410A. Designed as an inverter-driven heat pump, it provides hot and chilled water for mid-sized buildings, the release said.
Twin compressors, vapor injection, and a refrigerant-cooled heat sink ensure performance from -20% to 52°C loads. Control options include HMI, ACP, and BECON systems, it said.
