LG CNS (KRX:064400) is partnering with Charlotte, North Carolina-based technology firm Honeywell to expand into the US manufacturing automation experience (AX) market, the AX specialist said in a Monday release.
LG CNS President Hyun Shin-kyun and Honeywell Process Solutions President Pramesh Maheshwari agreed to co-develop AI-powered factory automation products.
Their joint efforts include building a manufacturing AX platform and an AI-integrated manufacturing execution system for sectors such as semiconductors and petrochemicals, the release said.
