NXP Semiconductors Sees Orders, Results Unfazed by Tariffs -- Market Talk

1213 ET - NXP Semiconductors says both its customers and its financials were unfazed by tariffs in the latest quarter. "We did not experience any material customer order pull-ins or push outs, which could be associated with tariffs," CEO Kurt Sievers says during a call with analysts. He adds there has been no material direct impact to NXP's financials from current tariff rates, though trade uncertainty continues to make it tough to predict customer behavior over the long term. The comments come as President Trump threatens to raise tariffs on semiconductors produced abroad. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
